About
A community tradition of care.
Coming together to support our community and remind survivors they're not alone.
About Rohit's Baskets of Hope
Rohit's Baskets of Hope is a community giving event started in 2010 by Rohit Group's co-founder Krishna Gupta and her dear friend, Dianne Young. What began as a gathering of friends has grown into an annual tradition that brings businesses, volunteers, and community members together in support of WIN House. The idea is simple: when someone is rebuilding after violence, a small act of care can carry a powerful message. Each basket is filled with comfort items that help recipients feel supported and worthy.
Why gift baskets?
WIN House and other community supports help meet urgent needs. Baskets of Hope adds something personal: items that encourage self-care and comfort, a gift during a difficult transition.A basket might include cozy socks, a journal, body care, a small blanket, or other thoughtful items. The contents are simple, but the message is meaningful: you are not alone, your community is with you.
Remembering Dianne Young
Baskets of Hope began in the living room of Krishna's dear friend, Dianne Young, where her giving spirit brought 12 friends together around a simple idea: to create 12 baskets for women in need. What started as a small act of care has grown into a beautiful community tradition.Dianne passed away in 2026 and we will miss her dearly at Baskets of Hope. Her warmth, kindness, and quiet generosity live on in every basket packed and every person who carries her spirit of compassion forward.

Stories
Voices from our community.
The welcome baskets from Rohit were awesome. Getting a welcome present made me and my kids feel more at home.
Basket recipient
After more than 10 years of volunteering with Baskets of Hope, I’ve always appreciated being part of an organization that creates opportunities to make giving back so personal, hands-on and connected to community.

Seeing the welcome baskets felt really good. My daughter loves bath bombs and lotions, and we really appreciated the towels because we didn’t have any. The little luxury items, like the shower steamers, made such a difference, and the kids still love using them.
