What is Rohit's Baskets of Hope?
Rohit's Baskets of Hope is an annual community giving event that collects monetary and in-kind donations for people supported by WIN House in Edmonton. Guests bring comfort items, help fill baskets, and support an evening dedicated to care, dignity, and hope.
Who does Baskets of Hope support?
In Edmonton, Baskets of Hope supports WIN House and the women, non-binary individuals, and children they serve while fleeing domestic violence.
When and where is this year's event?
This year's event is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Rohit Group Office, 10130 112 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5K 2K4. Please confirm the final date and time before publishing.
What should I bring?
Guests are encouraged to bring 12 new comfort items for the baskets. Suggested items include cozy socks or slippers, journals, books, body care, bath products, reusable water bottles, small blankets, gift cards, or other thoughtful self-care items.
Do I need to bring all 12 items myself?
No. You are welcome to partner with a friend, family member, or colleague to contribute the 12 items together. The goal is to make giving feel accessible and shared.
Can I attend if I cannot bring items?
Yes. You can still attend, make a monetary gift, fund a basket, purchase raffle tickets, or contribute in another way. Every form of support helps.
Can I donate if I cannot attend the event?
Yes. You can donate directly to WIN House or sponsor a basket through Baskets of Hope. The Donate page includes both options.
Where do the baskets go?
Baskets are delivered to WIN House with care and respect for the privacy of the people receiving them.
Can my company sponsor the event?
Yes. Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and community partners. Visit the Sponsor page to download the sponsorship package or contact us to discuss a custom contribution.
Can I donate a silent auction item?
Yes. High-value items, services, and experiences can be contributed to the silent auction. Please contact the Baskets of Hope team to coordinate details.
Will I receive a tax receipt?
Donations made directly to WIN House are handled through WIN House, including receipting. Please confirm receipt details for basket sponsorships or other event contributions before making a gift.
